Drawing: Road trips with gardeners
My friend, the beautiful and brilliant Virginia recently started a blog and posted about an up coming trip to longwood gardens. ...which brought to mind an earlier road trip she told me about involving a small car, a large palm tree, and a LONG drive... And inspired this drawing:

I love the drawing. I have learned to never take a road trip in my husbands Mini Cooper! There is no room for plants! gail
Ha! I have SO been there....I have a good friend who's a plant-addict like myself, and we always drive her huge van to the nursery when they're having their 1/2 off sale in the Fall. Even then...it's always a tight squeeze....thanks for the laugh!

TOO FUNNY! I'm the one who asked Virginia to lug a large palm all the way from St. Louis to Columbus, and she was too nice to say no. If nothing else, Joseph, I'm glad we inspired your artistic side!
