Hi Joseph - Love your cartoon as usual, though it wouldn't work with tulips for me - the voles and chipmunks eat all mine! Substitute camassias for me please :)

Hahaha...that's hilarious, and sadly, right on the mark! How easily we forget the horribly, muddy, wet, cold planting in the spring...ahhh, gardeners, we are the eternal optimists!

If only there wasn't such a delay to see the fruit of our labors. I need to start planting bulbs...but I think I might wait until I can get some on clearance.

Fabulous. Right on the mark. We need to get these published in a magazine.

So well said! Very funny! Except I also have so many of my tulips and daffs eaten by the squirrels, I usually don't buy enough.

I can relate. I would add that, in ordering so many bulbs, we often end up desparately planting the bulbs in 30 degree weather while snow is falling around us!
