Friday Cartoon: The Weather Man

As this exceptionally hot summer wears on, my relationship with the weather man is getting increasingly tense.

Funny and sadly true! Love the colorized version :)

Totally agree!!! Who else but gardeners (and farmers) wish for rain?

So true. And I like the way you've made me look so skinny, too!

Tee hee - so true and I've just tweeted something similar to this re our weather in the UK. Then @gardenfix pointed me in your direction... :)

BTW WV says visting which is spookily similar to what I'm doing here right now - just visiting ;)

Nicely done. We're having the opposite out here on the west coast. Cool weather...no rain but that's normal for this time of the year. I'd like a few really hot days (don't hate me).

We just had a couple days of lovely rain storms. It's been much more humid and rainy that it sometimes is. Apparently, we are stealing the rain from other parts of the county.

Hahaha, this cartoon completely illustrates my life right now! I've been doing a rain dance in hopes we'd get some rain here. Any rain, please!

That is right on, though I'll admit that in central Indiana, we've gotten some nice rains and aren't parched. But that could change!

Glad you all liked it! Sure, Carol, Liz, and Danger Garden, brag about all your rain already! I just wish I could import some of the excess rain we had here last summer into this summer.
And VP, I hope you enjoyed just visiting, and visit again!

Yes! And here in Portugal we are now with around 100 ºF...
I wish for rain, not the beach!!!

Cute cartoon, but muddy feet, did it rain?

Mr. McGregor's Daughter said...

Yes! Exactly.

Donna, somehow my feet are ALWAYS dirty coming in from the garden, no matter how dry it is... I'm not sure how it works, but somehow it does.

OMG...that is totally me...I get so mad at the blonde bimbo who does the weather report each morning, smiling and talking about how GREAT the weather is...90 and sunny for a whole week makes me cringe!
