A new chapter

Well folks, I have very exciting news! Next month I'm going to be starting a new job at... Arrowhead Alpines! If you read this blog regularly, you'll know it is my favorite nursery, a legendary place for everything rare and unusual, so I am very excited. What will be I doing for them?
Well, it is an incredibly diverse nursery with an incredibly small staff, so a little bit of everything! Can't wait. To give you a taste of what an amazing place Arrowhead is, here are just a few photos of plants that are looking gorgeous in their greenhouses right now:

Great news. Sounds like you'll be a treasured employee for them. Can you still keep this site going at the same time. Lovely pics too - wish I could cultivate more cyclamen

Sold! The Agave utahensis v. eborispina I mean. Oh a...congratulations!

Seriously, what fun for you. Hope you'll share a bit of the nursery insider scoop on this blog.

Now about that Agave...is that seriously the size of plant you get for $12 when you order off the website? Tell me yes and I'll be ordering...and you can let them know you've already increased sales and you haven't even started working yet!

Congratulations! Employment news is always happy -especially for such a respected outfit. Is this the place where I can buy a plant or two for my soon to be built hypertufa trough?

Congratulations again! Very cool nursery. I visited it once years ago on a cross country trip when stopped in Michigan to see a friends garden.

Of course the thing I learned when working in a nursery is that I never want to own my own nursery! I hope you have a great experience. :)

Looks like its the best place for you to be. I read that the owner and mentor of the nursery died recently so it's great to have another person passionate by plants there.
Wish all the best!

Oh, and Danger Garden, I'll check on the agave for you.
