And, unsurprisingly, there isn't much! But I do have:
A couple snapdragons:
A few Verbena canadensis:
And one bud on one of my favorite roses, 'New Dawn' which isn't quite in bloom yet, but will probably make it into flower if the weather stays mild:
And that's it, folks. Whatever am I going to do for December? And January!

Hi, GreenSparrow Gardens -- maybe you'll have a few hellebores in bloom!
Welcome to GBBD! Yes, you picked a 'challenging' month to start..but sometimes that's half the fun. Love the white verbena photo - very pretty, indeed. Looking forward to seeing more of your garden as the months roll by....
I would have hellebores, only I have to confess: I don't much like hellebores, and don't have any. (Don't tell anyone... I'll loose all credibility as a trendy gardener) I guess I'll have to rely on house plants until the snowdrops, Iris reticulata, aconite, and crocuses start.
I think you will need some houseplants. I have the same problem here. At least we get to enjoy the flowers from the southern bloggers.
Houseplants.
Great showing for MI in December! I keep telling myself I need to get some Snapdragons, they are remarkably hardy. Don't bother with Hellebores for winter bloom, mine never start blooming here in the burbs of Chicago until March at the earliest, even H. niger, the so-called Christmas Rose. I can understand not being wowed by Hellebore flowers, but you have to admit, some have great foliage.
Great finds for Michigan at this time of year. I'm impressed!
I'm with you in not liking hellebores enough to plant them, by the way. Why should it be a crime? ;)
I was new to the Bloom day aswell this month. I can't wait for the bulbs to pop through also!
