The early fall has me in complete panic- it rained so heavily for so long this year that we couldn't get the garden in until July, so this is turning into 'The Summer That Never Was' for us. I've still got to take lots and lots of cuttings, and I'm hoping the hollyhocks manage to ripen seed before the frost cuts them down...
I posted the other day because we had a wind storm and the colored leaves were scattered about. It seems too early this year. I guess I was a little like the cartoon.
I've seen the leaves start to turn colors in the fall and I'm freaking out--it's already fall! Too much to do...
ReplyDeleteI know Liz, I've got a list a mile long! But I love fall... so beautiful, and such a nice change from the heat worry over the rain of August!
