Emilie Regnier and Kent Harrison (OSU Hort/CropSci) have some interesting on earthworms and ragweed seeds. It was published in the Columbus Dispatch on 8/23/09 and published in December's Journal of Applied Ecology. Earthworms hanker to bury the seeds.
I think Joseph pretty much has it covered *grin* I need to find a copy of this to hang on my wall.
