I mean they can't even bother to be a color other than white. We just had 5 months of nothing but white, can't we get a little more color?!Tomhttp://theatrumbotanicum.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24631933.post-68721948534119746012011-04-12T21:28:56.836-04:002011-04-12T21:28:56.836-04:00Tom, Yes, I know... I'm generally the most easily plant obsessed person on the planet, but galanthamania just seems odd to me.Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14433418903218452909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24631933.post-9939538515512888392011-04-12T19:47:03.251-04:002011-04-12T19:47:03.251-04:00http://online.wsj.com/article/SB100014240527487040...http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704059004575127721994376564.html I don't get it but Galanthaphiles do exist. So clearly not everyone shares your sentiment :) I on the other hand had never even seen them until this year(Though I have heard of them plenty).

Also, your irises sure are pretty! They're only sporadically hardy back home so I only ever get like 2 or 3 that ever survive the winter! I suppose I'll plant a bunch this fall now that I live somewhere warmer!Tomhttp://theatrumbotanicum.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24631933.post-29369234520387017732011-04-11T20:36:18.454-04:002011-04-11T20:36:18.454-04:00That is a really lovely bouquet and Smudge is very...That is a really lovely bouquet and Smudge is very cute. I have never given the miniature irises a try but recently I have seen a lot of them in various gardens around campus and they do look great. Perhaps they will go on the shopping list for next fall.Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07291223943168030684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24631933.post-6180879253675879882011-04-11T10:43:00.391-04:002011-04-11T10:43:00.391-04:00Smudge is a great name for a kitty!Smudge is a great name for a kitty!annajcookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17573723390785613915noreply@blogger.com
